Is using drugs and alcohol really that bad?
Let’s be honest—if drugs and alcohol always caused terrible experiences, who would use them? Along with the good things drugs and alcohol can bring, they can also bring some really bad things, too. It can be risky, you could get into trouble, and it can be really dangerous, even deadly in some cases for some people.

What about street drugs?
Part of the problem with street drugs is there’s no guarantee that what a person thinks they’re buying is actually what they get. Sometimes even the person who sold the drug doesn’t know exactly what it is. With that said, drugs affect everyone differently, so what might be “safer” for one person can be really bad for someone else. What’s the big deal with taking prescription drugs?
Unless the drug has been prescribed to you for a specific reason and you’re taking it as recommended, prescription drugs can be dangerous. When a doctor prescribes a drug, it’s for a specific purpose and a specific person, monitored by the doctor.
